Redesigning your kitchen should be a fun and exciting time, and the includes sorting out the right flooring too. Kitchen flooring needs to be durable yet stylish and there are popular choices to choose between; Lino or Tiles.
Tiles- Tiles are certainly durable and once in place, they shouldn’t need replacing for a long time. Fortunately, you have to opportunity to choose from an array of tile colours and patterns, making it easy to find one suitable for your kitchens interior. Tiles are easy to clean with a mop and bucket, meaning suborn stains and oil marks can be easily removed. The downside to tiles is cracks, these can be caused by dropping heavy items with a pointed edge directly onto them, this would then require a replacement of a tile.
Lino- If you are on a tighter budget, opting for a lino flooring is a great option. Lino flooring has improved in quality over recent years and usually come with a 5 or 10-year warranty. This type of flooring is also easy to clean and the cushion underlay can provide more comfort to your feet too.
