Choosing The Perfect Wallpaper

There are many rooms which you can place the wallpaper in. It is important that you decide which room you are wanting wallpaper in before choosing it. Once you have decided on a room, here are my tips for choosing the perfect wallpaper.

Firstly, you need to consider what colour scheme you are wanting for the room. Your wallpaper should follow this colour scheme. Sometimes it can be easier to choose your wallpaper and match your paint to the paper.

Some wallpapers can be textured. You will need to decide if you want it to be flat on the wall or slightly textured. Textured wallpaper does help to add emphasis to your room. This is best in bedrooms as they can be quite plain.

Finally, consider whether your wallpaper is one which you put paste on the wall or the paper. I have always found that putting paste on the wall is much easier. It does not make as much mess.
