Many properties have one common type of flooring running throughout the property, except for the bathroom and kitchen, and it’s easy to incorporate a flooring theme.

If you want a traditional feel then you may want to opt for solid oak flooring, and perhaps traditional stone tiles in the bathroom, and these two types of flooring can complement each other very well, while rugs can be added in the winter if you wanted to keep the chill of your feet.

Carpets, tiles and wood flooring can all be used to create a consistent theme and you property can feel a bit random and mismatched if you have a different type of flooring in each room. To make you home more consistent opt for a flooring theme, you’ll then get a similar feel in each of the rooms in your home.
